Renue Physical Therapy acquires majority interest in Back in Motion Rehabilitation, LLC
Renue Physical Therapy, an outpatient physical therapy provider headquartered in Bay City, Michigan is pleased to announce it has acquired a majority interest in Back in Motion Rehabilitation clinic located in Bay City, MI on Center Ave.
According to CEO Tony Klapish, “We are extremely pleased to partner with such an outstanding Physical Therapy business and a talented group of therapists who will be joining the Renue organization.” Craig Rau, PT and Shaun Sullivan, PT, are the owners of Back in Motion and have been in business together for over 15 years and jointly have over 59 years combined Physical Therapy experience. In a statement, Rau noted the following, “The Outpatient Physical Therapy Industry has changed significantly in the past few years and the timing was right to partner with a larger organization to handle the business operations while Shaun and I focus our time on providing great patient satisfaction and positive outcomes for our patients.”
This will be Renue’s 10th clinic located in the Mid-Michigan region and it’s first on Bay City’s eastside. “A significant part of our patient volume at our Renue Bay City west side clinic comes from patients who live on the west side. This gives us an opportunity to provide another option for the people who live on Bay City’s eastside and in Essexville,” stated Klapish.
The clinic will be named Renue-Back in Motion initially and then eventually become Renue Bay City East. Klapish also added, “the importance of communicating this correctly to our patient base and referring physicians is critical because of the excellent reputation that Shaun and Craig have in the PT industry. We want to make sure the market is aware that Renue and Back in Motion are one now.”
