Our Team

Kate Maurer is a doctor of physical therapy and pelvic health specialist at Renue Physical Therapy – Frankenmuth, and has been practicing physical therapy since 2013.

Throughout her career, Kate has experience in a variety of healthcare settings, including outpatient and hospital-based care, with the majority of her career being spent in outpatient orthopedics.

Born and raised in Frankenmuth, Kate is excited to serve her hometown and surrounding communities with the best in evidence-based care. Kate treats a variety of orthopedic conditions, and also has a special interest in vestibular rehabilitation and balance training, with additional certifications in vestibular rehabilitation and ImPACT concussion testing and post-injury care.

As the mother of two young children, Kate was inspired to pursue further training in pelvic floor and pelvic health conditions, and completed Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Continuing Education to expand her knowledge in early 2024. While she enjoys treating many. types of pelvic floor dysfunction, she’s developed a passion for helping. women thrive during pregnancy and the postpartum period.

In her free time, Kate enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and. baking, and getting outdoors to walk or hike.
