Frankenmuth native Janet Frank, OTRL, CHT has joined the team at Renue Physical Therapy. Frank has 25 years of experience as an occupational therapist and over 15 years as a nationally-certified hand therapist (CHT). She has experience in various treatment settings, including private practice and hospital systems.

After completing her CHT certification in 2005, Frank has spent the majority of her career working with complex trauma cases, helping patients recover from advanced surgical procedures and injuries.

“One of my favorite parts of my job is empowering patients with the education they need to overcome a severe hand injury,” said Frank. “Many people don’t realize how debilitating a serious hand injury can be until it happens, and it can feel very defeating at first. It’s incredibly rewarding to help patients gain confidence and return to the activities they love.”

Frank joins Renue’s growing hand therapy program after the addition of Christine Clements, OTRL, CHT in November 2021. Clements sees patients at Renue’s clinic at 3901 Bay Rd. in Saginaw, and Frank is accepting new patients at Renue’s Frankenmuth clinic at 406 W. Genesee.

“We are excited to grow the program by now offering two hand therapy locations and two exceptional certified hand therapists,” said Renue Chief Executive Officer Tony Klapish. “We’ve been so impressed with both Christine and Janet’s passion for helping patients regain as much hand function as possible and return to their daily activities.”

Frank will join fellow Frankenmuth native and Renue Managing Partner Mindy Bierlein, PT, DPT, and Kate Maurer, PT, DPT as part of the Renue Frankenmuth team. “Janet has worked in many different cities throughout Michigan, and we look forward to welcoming her back to her hometown of Frankenmuth as part of Renue,” said Bierlein. “We are so proud to add her talents to the clinic to better serve Frankenmuth and the surrounding communities.”
