Amy Trudeau is a licensed Occupational Therapist at Renue Physical Therapy at McLaren Caro Region. She has been practicing occupational therapy since 2021 upon achieving her Masters of Science from the Baker College Center for Graduate Studies.
Amy brings extensive experience from a wide range of clinical settings, including acute care and inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing and memory care, home health, early intervention, and outpatient pediatrics. She treats a variety of neurological, developmental, orthopedic, and cognitive conditions, including autism, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, dementia, and developmental delays. Amy has specialized skills in ADL retraining, balance and fall prevention, sensory processing and integration, emotional regulation, visual-motor integration, and fine and gross motor development. She also has advanced experience working with feeding and oral motor difficulties, birth injuries, and early intervention services for children birth to three.
Amy is certified in Interactive Metronome and is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist, with expertise in home modifications to improve safety and accessibility. She values collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure therapy is individualized and directly applicable to daily routines, home environments, and personal goals.
Amy lives in Goodrich and enjoys spending time outdoors whenever possible. In her free time, she loves running, biking, kayaking, hiking, camping, and being up north. She enjoys staying active through fitness and nutrition, and values time with her family, including her husband Andy and their three children.
