Our Team

Emily Leonard is an occupational therapist at Renue Physical Therapy at McLaren Caro & Saginaw Bay Rd Region, and has been practicing occupational therapy since 2022 upon her graduation from Saginaw Valley State University.   

During her fieldwork, Emily spent time in Traverse City working with outpatient neurological conditions, and also in acute care/inpatient environments. 

In previous roles she gained experience in orthopedic conditions of the hand, elbow and shoulder, and also worked with pediatric patients in the evaluation and treatment of developmental delays. Emily has also developed an interest in treating disorders of the hand and wrist, and is pursuing the 4,000 hours of direct practice experience required to become a nationally certified hand therapist under the mentorship of Christine Clements OTRL, CHT, who has been a certified hand therapist since 2000. 

Emily resides in Bay City, and enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors. In her free time, she enjoys biking, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, hiking, or simply taking long walks whenever she can. She also enjoys traveling with family and friends, especially to Traverse City and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
