Our Team

Alex Dennis is a physical therapist assistant at Renue Physical Therapy on State St. in Saginaw. She began practicing physical therapy upon graduation from Delta College in 2020.

Alex initially found a love for physical therapy when helping her grandfather rehabilitate in his home, which helped her make the decision to pursue a career as a PTA. She also achieved her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate at Delta College before entering the PTA program.

While finishing her schooling, Alex spent over four years working in a chiropractor’s office learning about patient care. During her clinical rotations, she spent time in outpatient settings working with patients in orthopedics, post-surgical care, sports injuries, gait training, neurological, and general strengthening. She also worked short-term in an inpatient setting working with patients on general strengthening, gait training, balance/coordination, and neurological conditions.

Alex is originally from Freeland and currently lives in Shields with her husband and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys playing women’s and co-ed volleyball year-round, swimming, hanging out with friends, and visiting Traverse City and her grandma’s cabin in Au Gres.
