Our Team

Kathy Lott is a Physical Therapist Assistant at Renue Physical Therapy Tawas, and has been practicing physical therapy since 2001 upon her graduation from the College of Southern Maryland.

During her schooling, Kathy’s clinical internships included time in local hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics and the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, DC.

Kathy began her career in an outpatient clinic in Maryland from 2001 – 2020. During that time she became a credentialed clinic instructor and oncology rehabilitation specialist, and ran the aquatic physical therapy program as well as being a certified spa and pool operator.

Kathy is passionate about educating her patients and giving them the tools and resources to be their own advocates. She is skilled in helping patients with ergonomics to maximize their daily functioning, work performance, body mechanics and posture. Kathy also has extensive experience guiding patients through oncology rehabilitation at diagnosis, through treatment, survivorship and palliative care.

Born in Oscoda, Kathy was raised in Southern Maryland and returned to Michigan with her own family to enjoy Northern Michigan life.
