Our Team

Abigail Boensch is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and pelvic health specialist at Renue Physical Therapy – Tawas. Abigail has been practicing physical therapy since 2018 upon graduating from Wayne State University.

Prior to joining the Renue team, Abigail gained experience in outpatient care specializing in neuro-rehabilitation, pediatrics, and pelvic health. She has additional training including:

Throughout her career, Abigail has developed a passion for treating women for pelvic health, and especially enjoys helping women through the pregnancy and postpartum phase. She is an active member of the APTA and MPTA, and has experience as a clinical instructor. Abigail has volunteered on the admissions committee for Wayne State’s physical
therapy program for eight years, and is dedicated to contributing to the development of future physical therapists.

Born and raised in Tawas, Abigail and her husband moved back in 2021 to raise their growing family. In their spare time, you can find them and their three young children at the ice cream shop, on the beach, or at the playground!
