
ALICIA HEADING
(PT, DPT, Managing Partner, Director, Clinic Development and Compliance)
Dr. Alicia Heading is the managing partner at Renue Physical Therapy – Midland. Alicia has been treating patients in the Mid-Michigan region since 2007. She received her doctorate in physical therapy and an undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University.
Alicia holds a Certification in Applied Functional Science and uses an integrative treatment model that combines functional movement assessment, evidence-based practice, and manual treatment to provide the best standard of care and achieve optimal outcomes for her patients. She has worked with elite performers as the lead therapist providing backstage medical treatment for performing arts productions at the Midland Center for the Arts, Detroit’s Fischer Theater, and The Whiting.
Alicia has additional training in dry needling techniques and has received Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certification to assess and treat undesirable movement patterns affecting swing mechanics. She also has training in youth sports injury, lymphedema management, and spinal and rib dysfunctions. Her focus is on orthopedic injury/treatment, sports injury prevention and rehabilitation, post-surgical rehabilitation, and treatment of neurologic disorders.
Alicia resides in Midland with her husband, Shawn, and their five children. They enjoy staying active together and spending time with family and friends.
