Our Team

Katie Polisano is a Doctor of Physical Therapy at Renue Physical Therapy – Shields and has been practicing physical therapy since 2023 upon her graduation from the University of Michigan.

During her schooling, Katie’s clinical rotations included experience in inpatient and neuro rehab as well as outpatient orthopedic settings, including a rotation at Renue Physical Therapy – Freeland. She served as a tutor for anatomy and kinesiology students during her time at UofM, and pursued continuing education in areas including concussion management, cardiovasular and pulmonary physiology, trauma informed care and running mechanics.

Katie decided to pursue a career in physical therapy in high school after learning about the field at the Bay Arenac ISD Career Center. She looks forward to applying her evidence-based knowledge and expertise to help patients recover from pain and prevent future injury.

Katie resides in her hometown of Auburn and keeps her weekends busy as a travel youth soccer referee. In her free time, she enjoys catching up on Netflix or reruns of Friends, cheering on the Pistons and U of M teams, and spending time with her corgi/black lab mix, Mini.
