Our Team

Kristen Rice is a Doctor of Physical Therapy at Renue Physical Therapy at the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA and Renue Physical Therapy – Bay City East on Center Avenue. She has been practicing physical therapy since 2009 upon her graduation from Central Michigan University.

Before joining the Renue team, Kristen gained experience in inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing and outpatient settings, and has spent most of her career in outpatient orthopedics in the Bay City area. She has experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions.

Kristen enjoys incorporating a mix of exercise and manual approaches during treatments to help patients return to their prior level of functioning so they can reach their health and lifestyle goals. She focuses on improving the quality of life of her patients while providing education that can help them understand the importance of exercise and taking care of their overall health.

Kristen is married with two daughters, Harper and Teaghan. In her free time she enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the Detroit Lions when she’s not busy running her children to all their various activities!
